Tim is playing the role of the father in a remake of the 1940s classic "My Friend Flicka."
During a scene in which a wild horse is broken, the beast got broken in a whole different way. Apparently,
the horse was spooked and ran, catching a hoof in a rope dangling around his neck and breaking his neck.
The ordeal means that
they won't be using any more wild horses on the set. And, of course, this blows that whole Humane Society disclaimer that
"No animals were harmed during the making of this movie."

Tim started working on his next album in January at John McBride's (Martina's husband) studio.
Once again, he'll be using his road band, the Dancehall Doctors.
And for the first time, he has been recording some songs he had a hand in writing.
The release date hasn't been set yet, but Tim is shooting for sometime around the end of the year.

At this moment, Tim is in Hollywood beginning work on his next film, “My Friend Flicka.”
It’s a remake of the 1943 movie that was the basis for a '50s TV series. Filming should wrap in early May.
And Tim better hope shooting doesn’t go over time, because he already has concert tickets sold beginning May 14th.

Tim better drive the pickup from his $6.4 million Beverly Hills mansion to Las Vegas on May 17th.
That's the date of the 40th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, and he may need the truck to haul back trophies!
He's nominated in six categories, but he could fill the bed with as many as eight awards, when you include
producer credits.
